Take time out to explore the beautiful Lake District whilst you are here. Our guest house, Blenheim Lodge, is situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park and our B&B overlooks Lake Windermere and the fells. It is a short 5-minute walk to the Lake where you can enjoy ferry rides to various other villages and towns. The Dales Way Walk is literally a minute’s stroll just behind us, where our B&B nestles snugly into 50 unspoilt acres of National Trust land with footpaths leading to four viewpoints.

When you are peckish, take a 5-minute walk into Bowness centre where you will be spoilt for choice with the 50 or more places to eat and drink! There are bakeries, cafes, bistros, pubs, and restaurants. If you need help reserving a table for dinner, do ask us to assist!

Blenheim Lodge B&B is in the heart of the Lake District National Park. We are easily accessible by public and private transport, being only a 5-minute ride from Windermere Train Station and an easy walk to local ferry points and bus stops. We can also help to organise return tours around the Lakes. However, if you are travelling to the Lake District using your own transport, we have a private on-site car park available for our guests’ use. There are lots of quaint roads criss-crossing breathtaking scenery to pretty villages and towns which visitors can explore.

For more active couples, why not try some fell-walking or riding or even walking with wolves? And for those interested in historical sites or homes, perhaps a visit to the Roman Fort at Hardknott Pass or Wordsworth House (to name just two very different points of interest which are but a jot across the eras that the Lake District has been inhabited), might prove a lovely day out!
