Nearby our guesthouse and family home are the famous Windermere Lake Cruises, which have been running continuously under various names and guises since 1845. Walk the 5-7 minutes’ jaunt from Blenheim Lodge to the Lake, and hop onto a ferry to enjoy many of the same picturesque views up close which you will also see from most of our bedrooms at Blenheim Lodge. Our Bowness Bed and Breakfast is one of the few places to stay in Bowness on Windermere offering stunning scenic outlooks upon Lake Windermere and the fells. Brant Fell was one of Zack’s favourite haunts. He loved exploring its many acres and climbing up to its view points. This was especially convenient for walkies as it is right behind our backyard.
