As we enter mid-November, I thought I would share some photographs I have taken recently of the views from our guest rooms at Blenheim Lodge.
The photo below shows Lake Windermere and the fells as seen from our hilltop B&B location.
Here is a photo of The Fairfield room.
The colours of Autumn are shown in all their glory in this photo of the fellside, woodlands and fields that form part of the National Trust acres into which our guest house, Blenheim Lodge, nestles. The little hedge forms the border that separates our Bed and Breakfast from National Trust parklands, for Blenheim Lodge is indeed located in the heart of the English Lake District National Park.
The Dalesway room at Blenheim Lodge sleeps two or three people comfortably for double, twin or triple occupancy. Here is a photo of the room below.
Finally, here is a photo of the view from The Langdale room. I noticed pinkish clouds in the sky and also streaks of bright white light, the latter of which have not reproduced at all in this image.
We upgraded an anniversary couple to The Langdale room today for their silver wedding anniversary celebration. (We often upgrade our guests to rooms of the next price range up from the one they bought if they are available on their arrival.)
Well, I hope you have enjoyed looking at these photos. Why not come and stay at Blenheim Lodge and enjoy our hospitality and these views for yourselves? Take advantage of our Special Offers and have a wee break! You will be assured of a warm welcome!
Blenheim Lodge . . . panoramic Lake views, peace and tranquillity, nestled against acres of beautiful fields and woodlands, in the heart of the English Lake District National Park.’
