August remains hot and steamy in the Lake District – great for days out and about, engaging in exciting activities, sightseeing and relaxing in this beautiful part of the world. At Blenheim Lodge, we have last minute Bed and Breakfast rooms available, all with views either of Lake Windermere and the fells, or of fell-side woodlands and fields. Here are some of the rooms we have available this coming week. Our rooms are being sold at Spring rates, reflecting a good discount. Prices start at £45 per person per night for Bed and Breakfast, and includes FREE country club membership, FREE private on-site parking, FREE WIFI, and two FREE fishing permits on a first come first served basis.
The Poppies
- The Poppies, our cheapest room. Located on the ground floor, this is a small double room with nice walk-in shower en-suite and a view to the north of Lake Windermere.

The Coniston
- Our standard 4-poster room, The Coniston, has a lovely view of Lake Windermere and the fells from its window. This photo was snapped by one of our guests.

The Dalesway
- The Dalesway, a pretty room with tranquil woodland views where you might hear an owl hooting at night and birds singing you an early evening lullaby.

The Fairfield
- Our largest room, The Fairfield, has lovely Lake Windermere views. You can also see the fells from this room.

The Eyrie
- One of our single rooms at Blenheim Lodge. This is The Eyrie, which is full of character. It has a velux window set in a sloping ceiling.
