Happy New Year to all! It’s time for posting our Winter discount offers. We have two: one applies to our single en-suite bedrooms and the other applies to our double, twin, and triple rooms. Ten rooms have views to Lake Windermere and the fells, whilst one has views to organic woodlands and fields. So if you are looking for a peaceful break within the Lake District National Park itself, and want to stay in a AA rated 4-Star B&B offering clean pretty rooms and comfortable beds, then do choose Blenheim Lodge for that relaxing, tranquil, and homely touch.

The Lake District is an amazing place to explore and enjoy year round. From pretty hamlets and villages to lakes and woodlands, and not forgetting those amazing passes which encompass spectacular views, there is so much to see, absorb, and do! Blenheim Lodge itself is located on a fell, where our house backs onto acres of pretty countryside with walks leading to hidden crannies and stunning viewpoints. Just 5-10 minutes’ walk from our door is Bowness Bay, where holiday makers may ride the ferries which ply Lake Windermere. Individual (as opposed to identikit) shops and restaurants abound, with many serving local produce.

Come stay a few days with us: indulge in that calmness that can only come from getting away from it all. Let someone else cook and do the washing up for you! We use a local third generation family butcher’s for hand-cured and hand-sliced bacon, and also serve sausages which the butcher hand-makes to a specific recipe for our guest house. A local farm delivers large free range eggs fresh to our door. Of course, vegetarian options are also available for breakfast.
