The weather in Bowness on Windermere, where our guest house is located, has been fabulous! Not just for a day, a week, a fortnight, or even a month. Instead, we have been enjoying amazing weather for weeks now! Mostly sunshine? Yup! Temperatures? Warmish, warm, and at times even positively hot! Windchill factor? A very light and minuscule breeze if there is one at all! All in all, we have been thoroughly spoilt weather-wise.

So, how does this lovely weather look like in reality? Well, Hubby and I take our Pyrenean Mountain Dog walkies around and about the area. Take a look at the photos below and you will get a gist of what the fine weather we have been enjoying looks like. I have also included some photos of the views from Blenheim Lodge itself, where our guests can enjoy them in all their splendour! (P.S. That is not to say that we haven’t had any dull weather days, as you will see from my pictures below!)

A gorgeous day with views to match! This photo was snapped from our guest lounge at Blenheim Lodge B&B.
This photo was snapped from the shores of Windermere, about 3 miles from Bowness. We had taken Zack walkies there.
A sunny evening’s walk at Rydal Hall, about 6 miles from Blenheim Lodge.
Fish on Windermere. We offer two free fishing permits so our guests can fish free of charge on WAADA lakes. (There are only 30 establishments that possess these permits, and all are limited to just two each.)
Sunshine on The Dales Way, where you can see a walker on the path. This photo was taken from The Dalesway bedroom at Blenheim Lodge. That is our backyard, which borders the open fields and woodlands leading to 360-degree viewpoints on Brant Fell into which Blenheim Lodge nestles.

Hubby is taking it easy! He is reading a paper in our backyard at Blenheim Lodge, with the slopes of Brant Fell in the background.
There is nothing like half-dozing in a warm, sun-filled lounge when enjoying a sunny day!
