I have only recently learnt how to put videos up on Facebook, and have begun putting up videos now and again, and photos too. This was something taught to me, a technophobe, by someone over the past six months. I had been terrified when he told me to try things on my own, but now that I am getting the hang of it, it does not seem so difficult after all.

Windermere, the largest lake in the Lake District National Park, is only a 5-minute walk from our door. It is a hive of activity where birds are concerned, including numerous wintering birds. Hubby and I walk along the lakeshore oftentimes with Zack, our big cuddly Pyrenean, who attracts attention in his own right. Just look at that little crowd below!

Zack is such a shmoozer! Even with strangers he meets on Windermere Promenade!

Here are a couple of photos I took of Windermere recently, with Zack in one of them. Do click on our Facebook link, and visit our page to see the videos, and photos which are not just of Windermere but also of other areas in the Lakes. Hopefully they will inspire you folks to come visit this pulchritudinous area of northwest England.

On an evening walk, we saw Windermere looking gorgeous with its sparkling gold-lit waters.
