From centuries back until now, the Lake District National Park has moved mankind with its mesmerising beauty. Lovely throughout all four seasons of the year, the Lake District is a great place for seeing in the New Year. Ullswater was one of the first lakes to attract the tourists, with Derwentwater and Windermere quickly following suit.

New Year is just around the corner so I thought I would post this link to a couple of posts on another blog detailing some of our availability during the New Year period. We still have some late available rooms during the New Year festive season, all of which have lovely Lake Windermere and/or fell views. Here are the links:

The information about our last minute rooms straddle the period between 28th December to 5th January, so different rooms are available during different dates. Why not take a look at our Bed and Breakfast accommodation and decide which dates and which rooms might suit your requirements during a vacation in the Lake District?

You can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome at our B&B retreat!
