Easter long weekend begins on Friday, 18th April, and at Blenheim Lodge we still have some late availability rooms over the weekend. We have rooms available for double, twin or triple occupancy throughout the weekend, including Easter Monday and onwards, with guests being able to book lovely quirky rooms with wonderful Lake Windermere or fell views. With tariffs retained from previous years, our Easter long weekend prices start from only £53.50 per person per night, including breakfast. For dates outwith Easter weekend, prices start from £45 per person per night, including breakfast.
All our rooms at Blenheim Lodge are unique in style and decor. Many of our rooms have antique furniture which compliments the age of our Victorian guest house, although, of course, all our rooms have been sympathetically modernised. In fact, an AA inspector recently visited us out of the blue just a couple of weeks ago, and pronounced our Bed and Breakfast a comfortable AA 4-Star establishment.
If you are feeling romantic, why not book a 4-poster room at Blenheim Lodge? The Langdale is available from Saturday, 19th April, onwards and boasts amazing panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the fells beyond. This lovely room is dominated by a substantial William IV 4-poster bed and has two comfortable chairs placed strategically in the triple bay windows to take in those incredible views.
We have another room available from Saturday, 19th April onwards. This is a characterful and quirky room we call The Attic. The Attic has an intricately hand-carved antique Louis XV bed and a private bathroom with a freestanding bath. From the velux window in this room, there are far-reaching views over Lake Windermere and the mountains.
The Fairfield is our largest room and can be used flexibly for double, twin or triple occupancy. Decked out in colours of burgundy and off-white, this room has a king-size bed as well as a daybed and boasts views to the north of Lake Windermere as far as the eye can see. The daybed has a proper mattress and will sleep one person. The Fairfield is available from Friday, 18th April, onwards.
My favourite room of all at Blenheim Lodge is The Dalesway. This pretty room is decorated in a Laura Ashley palette of oyster shades, and also possesses a daybed and a double bed. Looking out over tranquil fell-land, The Dalesway has a restful feel, and is available from Sunday, 20th April, onwards.
